The chub eats anything and so turns up everywhere. Good sized fellows will prey on the small fish that pike and perch take, surprising the predator angler with their unexpected appearance. Although chub eat more traditional fishing baits readily, they can be taken on more obscure offerings such as slugs and crayfish. Using such baits can provide unforgettable chub fishing, with the best fellows having, of course, the biggest mouths! A handsome, deep bodied fish with an appetite, chub are an excellent quarry.
